Library The Japan Foundation Jakarta has a number of classical music notation book collection which is a donation from the NPO "Music Sharing" to build and promote classical music education in Indonesia.
This music book collection consists of books that contain scores of classical music works of renowned musicians such as JS Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, etc. to be played by Violin. All thirty one titles of these books covers methods and techniques for practicing violin such as in the "42 capricci for solo violin" (Paganini), or "The school of violin-Technics" (Schradieck), then there is also a score to be played together with piano as in "Sonatas for piano and violin "(Mozart), as well as scores for the concert / orchestra, such as" Violin concerto in E major "(JS Bach). Because this is special collection service , so to be able to select and view it, we provide the list of titles and a photocopy of the title page of each book. Furthermore, this collection can be viewed and copied in a limited number by library users, but can not be borrowed to take home. In 2002, MUSIC SHARING authorised by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and is recognized as an independent non-profit organization in Japan. MUSIC SHARING mission is to make classical music and traditional Japanese music with high artistic value become available children. MUSIC SHARING programs includes International Community Engagement Program (ICEP), with Midori, and other professional musicians who participated in it. They visited three cities in Indonesia, which are Jakarta, Yogyakarta, and Medan, since 21 December until 29 December 2008 with assistance from The Japan Foundation Tokyo.
