Japanese Language Speech Contest For High School Students 2009 Print E-mail

This speech contest is held by the cooperation between Japan Foundation, Jakarta, with The Direktory of High School Management, Basic and Middle Education Management, Department of National Education. This event will be held for the 8th time in 208.

The contest will be held in two stages, those are: 

1. Regional Speech Contest
This contest will be held in the 8 Teritory of MGMP Sma (SUmbar, Sumut, Jabodetabek, Jabar, Jateng and Yogyakarta, Jatim, Bali, and Sulut) in January 2009. The activity will be held by the local MGMP (please coordinate with the local government).

2.    National Spech Contest
The national speech contest will be held at Saturday, 21 Februari 2009 in the Hall of the Japan Foundation, Jakarta. The 13 participants are the winners of the regional speech contest of the 8 MGMP teritory. It will be held by the Japan Foundation in cooperation with the Directory of High School Management, Basic and Middle Education Management, Department of National Education.

During the contest, there will be a session to introduce Japanese culture. The session will introduce a traditional Japanese musical instrument, Koto, by using a lecture demonstration given by Ms. Chieko Fukuda, a profesional Koto and Shamisen player from Japan.

Apart from getting certificate and some stuffs, the national winner will also get the recommendation from Japanese Language Institute Kansai dan Japanese Speech Award to visit Japan.
