Library The Japan Foundation Jakarta has a number of classical music notation book collection which is a donation from the NPO "Music Sharing" to build and promote classical music education in Indonesia.

This music book collection consists of books that contain scores of classical music works of renowned musicians such as JS Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, etc. to be played by Violin.

All thirty one titles of these books covers methods and techniques for practicing violin such as in the "42 capricci for solo violin" (Paganini), or "The school of violin-Technics" (Schradieck), then there is also a score to be played together with piano as in "Sonatas for piano and violin "(Mozart), as well as scores for the concert / orchestra, such as" Violin concerto in E major "(JS Bach).

Because this is special collection service , so to be able to select and view it, we provide the list of titles and a photocopy of the title page of each book.
Furthermore, this collection can be viewed and copied in a limited number by library users, but can not be borrowed to take home. Before use it, library members can show the member card, and for non-members are asked to show identity card / other identification.

About NPO "Music Sharing"

1. This is special service, visitors who are interested can view this collection through the list of titles and copies of the title page of each book. After selecting, visitors can ask the library staff to fetch it.

2. Any visitors who are interested can make some copies of this collection in limited quantities. Library members need to show their membership card and non-members are sought to show the identity card / other identification, then fill the user data sheet.

3. People from outside Jabodetabek expected to contact us by phone or e-mail before planning to come to the library for the sake of service effectiveness; adjusted with copy service schedule and Library schedule.

4. In one month, each person is only allowed to copy once from one set of books of scores. Please wait for the next opportunity to be able to copy again.

5. The number of pages copied determined by library rules. It is not allowed to copy entire book, considering the Copyright law.

6. The copies are for private purposes only and is not justified to duplicate copies for others. People need to fill the bill before, and told the library staff which page will be copied in order to avoid mistakes.

7. Library staff will check the completeness of each set of collection, before and after it is used. Some sets accompanied by attachments that can not be separated from the main book (attachments can not stand alone / music can not be played separately), and therefore it is expected to be meticulous when using it.

8. Both users and library staff are expected to maintain cleanliness, completeness, and neatness when using it.
